What is “Awakening Events ”?
Perth, Western Australia now has a growing community of people who meet on a regular basis under the banner of “Awakening Events”. Each month you can come along and attend an informative evening where a video or DVD presentation is shown, generally to do with science, spirituality and consciousness. (Understanding the connection between these three seemingly different modalities will be the most important area of research for the survival of our species in the coming decades.). The presentation is then followed up after a short break by an open dialogue about the information shown during the evening.
The outcome is to create an environment where people can regularly come together to discuss the many challenges that the world is currently facing.
The idea is the brain child of Darrell Brown who is the host and facilitator of these events.

“As I looked around at the seeming chaos and confusion in the world right now, I decided that the best way that I could contribute my own experience and expertise was to create a community environment that not only empowered people with “new knowledge” and information, but also gave them a place where they could come and express what was in their hearts and on their minds.
I realised that as more and more people are now living on their own, we really need to create places where people can come together and know that they are not alone in their fear of the radical change that is happening in the world right now.
Also, with people now turning away from religion and at the same time losing faith in our government and politicians, it was very important to create an environment that was free of any particular belief system. Rather, we are creating a community that embraces difference and encourages unity.”
We currently charge around $15 for these events which covers room hire, any copy write fees; tea, coffee and biscuits and administration
 Darrell Brown, spent the first 25 years of his life as a freelance cinematographer shooting for people like 60 minutes, The Lonely planet, as well as filming Local, National and International TV Commercials. He is also a Master practitioner and Associate trainer in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). And is also certified in Erciksonian Hypnosis and Avatar
He has trained all over the world with some of the most progressive thinkers on the planet. Including last year when he travelled into the mountains of Tibet with Gregg Braden Author of “Awakening to Zero Point and “The God Code”. The name of the expedition was “In search of Original Wisdom”.
Darrell Brown is also a life coach and occasionally does one on one coaching and counselling.
